It was also a finalist in Outreach magazine’s Resource of the Year Award – “Small Group Outreach” category and in the Christian Living category of the 2007 Christian Retailer’s Choice Awards.

Tim has published with Multnomah (Swashbuckling Faith: Exploring for Treasure Thru Pirates of the Caribbean);  Zonderkidz (The Book of Cool and two volumes of  Dr. Devo’s Lickety Split Devotions); Beacon Hill Press (Being a Good Dad When You Didn’t Have One); Concordia (Seasons under the Son and Lessons in Dadhood); and CTA-Christian Tools of Affirmation (19 titles), including his latest release, Grieving with Hope.  His work has been translated into French and Chinese. His gift books, small devotionals, and children’s picture books have sold over a half million copies through CTA-Christian Tools of Affirmation in St. Louis, MO.

Tim’s ministry includes speaking at a variety of events and venues. He has also entertained groups as a Christian comedian.  Early in his career, Tim also made stops along the way as a whitewater canoe guide, an on-air radio announcer/DJ, and a weekly humor columnist.
